This sequence of images is a result of a long consideration. Its title is intentionally deceptive. Not the adjective degenerative
, but the name drawings
. These are not drawings. They only look like it. There is no paper and drawing tool. There's only bitmap. Numbers, if you'd like or rather pixels on a screen.
The images are square shaped, like the 6x6 format photographs of my youth. I liked this format all in my life, but almost never used it. I had a reason not to do it: All the frames and glasses in the galleries were rectangles. All of that is no more.
The drawings are result of a function system, only the parameters of the system are changed. It is such a tool as a pen. The usage is different of course. It's like an image factory, my job is to just pick.
