This series of images is the result of much deliberation. The title is deliberately misleading. It is not the degenerate adjective that is entirely accurate, but the drawings. They are not drawings. They just look like they are. No paper, no drawing tools. There is only bitmaps. Numbers, if you like, or rather pixels on a screen.
The images are square, like 6x6 photographs of my youth. I've loved this format all my life, but I've hardly ever used it. I had my reasons, all the frames and glass in all the exhibition spaces were rectangular. All that is no more.
The drawings are the results of a system of equations, only the parameters of the system are different. There is also this tool like a pen. It can be used in different ways of course, it's like a picture factory, I just have to pick and choose.
